Set up for an interview Oct 28th!!!!!!!!
Are you a true off-the-street guy/girl?

My buddy was one of the CJO guys from 2010. Couldn't get through on Monday and now has an interview set up for December. Guess it's true what they say...all about timing.

Congrats to you, but I personally think he just got hosed. 2 months, that's what, 100 seniority numbers? Or does Delta put everyone hired in a pile and assign classes accordingly?

OB,

Unless it has changed if you are get called for an interview the job is yours to lose. DAL does not operate the way UAL used to - interview 12 and give 1 to 2 job offers. If you make it through the testing phase to the interview they are hoping to hire you.

I had all of my military log books with an excel spread sheet and not a single question about flight time. I don't even remember bringing in my FITREPs at all. If I did have them sent in there were no questions about them either.

I know what you're saying but to have gotten a call this early in the process pretty much means you're golden long-term.

He is getting an interview at the beginning of a hiring wave. I would say that is extremely fortunate and very good timing. His focus should only be on the interview prep and not how many interviewed ahead of him. Got to get the job first. I truly wish him the best of luck.

Ha! That's what I told him. He's lacking in the optimism department.

Maybe they'll figure that out in the interview... Hopefully not. I'd be SO stoked to hear from them at all...

Remind him of all the people who DON'T have an interview invitation yet! That should improve his mood!

Default Delta hiring Comair Pilots?

I have heard that Delta won't be hiring any ex-Comair pilots. Does anyone know if this is true?

Thanks

What are you AF folks doing about your Form 8s and form 942? It says to bring the original and copies of them. My Stan/eval shop won't give me the original. Any ideas?
