Thanks.. I had no idea that those cats were that junior. The 7er in NY is about 2000 numbers junior to those for those that are keeping score. I flew with... I believe... something like 8? from the bottom of the entire list a few months ago. The second thing to go is one's memory from what I've heard...

All that being said, as hiring accelerates, those categories are going to get more senior. More 717s and M88/90s coming online as well as the 737-900ERs (That still sends chills), and the drawdown of the 75s, the WB flying is going to get more senior

2001 = 2007/2008 after the merger. Last AE (April 2013 I believe) the junior FO to get SEA 7ER was approximately 7500.

Heard on another forum delta announced in the school house hiring of 600/year for the future; not the known 300. Can anyone confirm this?

I was told this should probably cover it for a while considering all the flow ups and such. More emails might go out after 1st of the year.

?? Not sure what you mean. I was a 2001 South hire. After the merger, I am slotted in with 1999 North hires.

I flew with a Check Airman last night who confirmed that in the most recent meeting with the CEO, RA stated that 600/year will be number hired for many years beginning this year.

Went by the GO to take care of some bidness and the parking lot was full full full. That's a nice sight to see.

Not sure about RA, but I recall Capt. JG saying:
"At least 600 per year for the next 10 or more like 17 years non-stop."
