I'll take that bet.
Especially since Delta's minimums are very, very low. Up until the FAR change it was commercial multi and I think 1200 TT. Not sure if its been updated to ATP or not but I seriously doubt in a year DL will be hurting for 1500 TT pilots.

There are certain things that have changed at the interview. If you have old gouge, keep on studying that information but the questions on the aviation knowledge test have expanded. The HR interview is slightly different because of the types of questions being asked. The people who have been successful so far have been studying for a long time and are prepared for the HR interview.

You get a conditional offer on day 1. You still have to pass the medical test and pscyh evaluation on day 2.

The medical test has been eliminated from the interview process.

I knew one very good pilot who passed the first day Delta interview on day 1, conditionally hired pending day 2, and yet on day 2 somehow "failed" the psychological testing/review. I have no idea how that happens or what they are looking for, but from having flown with this guy he was a good pilot.
