My point is, the Camel is in the tent and the Delta pilots were locked out of the tent. Mesabah is mostly correct on the law and like me, he learned this from counsel outside of ALPA's own echo chamber.

My solution is not only fair, it is probably the only way forward if you actually want to accomplish what you say you do.

The compromise I see is 82 seats, flown by Delta pilots, with our alter ego brothers recognized for what they are.
Does the Pinnacle/Endeavor/DAL experiment fail when half (or so) of the SSP candidates (seems to be the current average) fail to get the dangled DAL job? Will they stay as disgruntled employees with a substandard contract or go seek greener pastures as other majors begin to hire? Once the gold ring is snatched away...does it unravel?

Maybe a subject for a different thread?

Who knows? The Pinnacle Bridge Agreement was a bridge further than the RJDC ever dared to go. Wychor apparently was an astutue student of his adversary's tactics.

I too am waiting to learn what comes next. Does Wychor use his expertise to exploit the outsourcing scheme that he, himself, helped promulgate? Does he remain loyal to a system that failed him?

Recommendations are only part of the process. You can have a letter of recommendation from anybody. It does not have to come from a Delta employee. You need to continue networking at various events, keep your personal and professional record clean, volunteer in the community and network again.

Your attitude is the most important thing a recruiter is looking for in a pilot candidate. Remain upbeat and you will have your chance one day.

Have any Democrats been hired at Delta??? Everyone I know that got hired is a Conservative, and everyone rejected was a Liberal.

They make you fill out a party affiliation at the beginning of the interview. Liberals need not apply.

I flew with a liberal once. How do you think like that?

I'm trying to make sense of the people who got hired vs rejected in the SSP, it's all I got. Is buzzpat on the panel?

Happily, no.

And being LA-based, I fly with lots of libs. Those SEA and PDX commuters are wacky!

Delta's not like that. Plenty of diversity in its causes.

The common theme is they all didn't score high enough. Everyone interviewing has to score a certain amount of points to pass each section... it is the same for off the street and SSP.
