DFW/DAL commuter

FNG here looking for info/advice. Indoc starts next week. I'm a dfw/dal commuter. I'd like to get ATL but heard the commute can be iffy with all the senior FAs that live here. Is it true the company has a policy to positive space you if you miss your first commute option and have a backup?

Also heard the company may make DFW a satellite base for FAs only. That would ease the commute some. Anyone able to shed any light.

The steam gauges left the U-2 years ago. The current setup is three MFDs. No doubt nicer than the steam gauges but having the drift sight was cool.

Oh, well in that case, with the MD88 being the backbone of the fleet, that makes you over qualified.

I actually asked this exact question to an interviewer with delta and he said that he knows a bachelors degree is 4 years so he wants to know how many years it took you to get the degree. If you started your degree in 2000 but finished it in 2006 then you need to put 6 years of school even though you have a 4 year degree. You would need to put 8 years of schooling on your app.

I just heard that delta currently has 12,000 applications and only 8,000 of those meet delta's qualifications. Rumor has it they are going to increase hiring to 100 a month as well.
