Thanks! To be honest I think I'd feel about the same hitting the Powerball!

Didn't think it would happen this fast so I am still in the process of getting spooled up. I am planning to schedule some time with Emerald Coast here in the next couple of weeks and I have been doing Lumosity regularly for the last year or so. However, I am still looking to get my hands on some good, current gouge for the interview and knowledge tests. I PMed someone a while back regarding such but haven't heard back. Anyone know a good source?

For what it's worth, I made the dates overlap and changed the date at my current address to the day it became my permanent address.
Good luck! Interview prep is probably the most important thing for you now.

Masters, 4.0, lots of extracurricular, volunteer, etc... Good luck all. The calls will come.
Thanks for the reply and congrats on the call! I'm at 3000 TT, IP, Masters (3.0 gpa), 1200 TPIC, Bachelor's (3.7 gpa), I have 280 hrs of 121 time, hoping to get the call soon.

FFB,

Congratulations on the invite!

Just curious, what was your availability date? I'm trying to ascertain what "window" they might be looking into concerning availability.

Just curious, do you mind listing your quals (civ-mil-both, gpa, TT, Bachelors/Masters, etc.)? A few of us on here are wondering when we may be getting closer to the area of apps they are extending the invite to.

Thanks!

So here's the deal: I got a fix it email from Delta saying Incomplete Address History. Went in and did some poking around on my app and came away with 2 questions.

#1. Do the dates at each address over the last 10 years need to overlap or just "touch"? What constitutes a gap? For example, should I enter it as:
Address A from 6/1/99 to 5/31/00
Address B from 6/1/00 to 5/31/02
-OR-
Address A from 6/1/99 to 5/31/00
Address B from 5/31/00 to 5/31/02

#2. I've kind of had a foot in two houses for the last 2 years or so and had a "current address" and a "permanent address" listed on my app. Just recently I completed the process of making my "current address" my "permanent address". Should I change the date of the "current address" to match the date it became my "permanent address"?

Thanks in advance for any insights from the tribal knowledge base!
I used #1 and recommended it to my friends who also got hired. Make sure it all flows for your address history but don't forget to put your entire work history either after HS or college which ever makes sense for your situation.

Problems I've helped correct are when someone wants to list two jobs during the same time period (for military when they deploy to another job but still have their old job back home) or when they leave gaps when they moved. I left out all of my temporary housing situations (2 and 3 months here and there) and just had me residences line up with job move dates.

Use common sense to keep it simple and accurate but don't have any gaps on either section if you can avoid it.

What's the rule for listing periods of unemployment... If you're in school should periods of unemployment still be listed? What about summers during high school?

Being in school, say in college or at a university, is suffice enough that you won't need to list gaps in employment while in school.

On the application, yes, of course list all of your jobs. But while in school and doing odds and ins jobs don't worry about gaps so much.

If after college, you have a gap of 6 months between flight instructing and a regional job, that's different.

Is that a problem to have more than one job at a time?
