Question: Are the 9E guys/gals considered "flow up" or are they being added to "off-the-street" pool getting their laps in as well? I figure I'm in the 80'ish number and will pull up a floaty chair with an umbrella drink for a few months. Any numbers on the February class size would be helpful. Thanks

This is how the flow works, every month Delta Air Lines has a class 9 XJ flows and 20 Compass flows are awarded a class date for that month. I believe it's either 6 or 9 pilots hired from the SSP get a seat in a class each month. So in a way they are swimming in a pool just not the same pool as the "off-the-streat" pool. I hope that makes sense. The XJ flow pool should be emptied by August, hence opening up 9 more seats to "off-the-street" pilots.

It is interesting that day 2 interviews are in the second class and not the first. Makes me think that compass is not holding back despite their not being notified of a class date yet.

Did all the Oct 15th interviewees get in the Jan 27th class or did some get pushed to the Feb 3rd class?

From reading the boards Compass doesn't seem to have a class date yet. Mesaba flows have been given class dates (Jan 13/Feb 3), but very little information otherwise. I just know I've been handed a towel by Delta (class award) and been told to dry off by the 13th. Then I'm sure to be hit by a "firehose" of knowledge to know (indoc, systems, procedures, sim).
