No... in 2010 Delta Backfilled... also top 20 of Compass got calls from Delta HR. Nothing related to class dates just pre hire info (Drug Test, fingerprints ect...)

B6 guys/gals that are jumping to DAL, especially ones that are very new to B6 - did any of you get any "attention" by the CPO or others when your PRIA requests got to Queens Plaza?

Heard they are not back filling the 13th class.

They will still be getting their 50 projected bodies for January, without the CPZ flows. If there are indeed 30 bypassers left for the 1/6 class, 14 new hires on 1/13 (9 XJ flows and 5 off the street) and a small off the street class at the end of the month (6 or so), there's your 50 for January.

You would think all that will actually be in the Jan 6 class already know this as it is only 1 week away. The suspense will soon come to an end...for the first class anyway.

Thats all fine and dandy but my point is no backfilling is good for CP guys because it doesn't cause Delta to reach their new hire goal as quickly. Like what happened in 2010, thus cutting atleast 1 class short of CP pilots.

Is the January 6th class the first class with off the street hires?

I would imagine they are going to hit the yearly max for compass flows this year......

Are there really 30 recalls left!? So much for them being in class before the turn of the year.

There were 130-135 recalls who said they were returning. The initial plan called for 50 recalls each in Nov and Dec, with the remaining being in a Jan class and using new hires (flows / and possibly off the street) to round out the Jan number to 50. And we all hope that they max out the Compass flows this year and next and the year after that and the hiring doesn't stop!

Just we at Compass are hoping for no backfills due to the loss in seniority it provides us, just as the off the street guys are hoping for backfills for a gain in seniority. Different sides of the aisle, but with a common goal at the end of the day. We will know soon enough which side gets their wish!
