It's varied quite a bit over the last year. They always start on Monday, unless Monday is a holiday, in which case it will start on a Tuesday. Some months have had two classes a month, and some have had three. In all cases (except the first month of this hiring wave) the first class was on the first Monday of the month. The next class or two it has been pretty variable, with a bias towards the beginning of the month. To be more specific, from the start of this wave:

Jan '14: 2nd and 4th
Feb '14: 1st and 3rd
Mar '14: 1st, 3rd, and 5th
Apr '14: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
May '14: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Jun '14: 1st and 3rd
Jul '14: 1st and 3rd
Aug '14: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Sep '14: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Oct '14: 1st and 3rd
Nov '14: 1st and 2nd
Dec '14: 1st and 2nd
Jan '15: 1st and 3rd

Called last week for feb 2 class. Interviewed 12/10-12/11. My understanding is they've now filled that class and are on to the next.

LAX skeds

Selecting for the upcoming jan 20th class and trying to get to the west coast so the plan was to pick 37NG. Does anybody know what a typical trip will look like for 73 out of LAX? Thanks !

There really is not a "typical" trip. Lots of trips start with a red-eye, a few have embedded red-eyes. 1,2,3,4, and now 5 day trips. The 737 pretty much has everything from 4 day - 4 leg Trans-cons to trips with 3 or 4 legs on some days. Most trips probably average about 2 legs/day.

Then best thing that can be said for our bid package is that there is quite a bit of variety. In February the LAX 737 guys also had a few ONT trips (4 trips signed in at ONT). These seem to come and go - we have not had any for months and it might be months until we see them again.

Was the 16th the last interview in 2014? 6 Jan CJO here. Trying to guess on a class date. Was told to expect 17 Feb at interview.

There were definitely interviews on the 17th, but don't know about the 18th. There are about 20-25ish in the class through Dec 16th CJO date, so I think you'd make it in if your background check is done in time.

Unless you have a last 4 higher than mid 5xxx.....in which case you should definitely wait for the Mar class.
