DAL Poolie Info
#4041
For those with CJO letters, the issue of letter expiration has supposedly been addressed as their pool approaches the time limit. I believe that limit is there to protect Delta in the event of a hiring slowdown and doesn't really do anything for Delta in the Endeavor SSP situation. (just my thoughts)

Finishing my airline apps, and had a question about school. Right out of high school and during high school, I took a couple college courses. But then I was in a different career and wasn't in a program. 9 years later when I changed my degree and went back to school, I was doing instructing while finishing my degree and building hours. I slowed my classes down at the end because I didn't want to graduate and have to start repaying my student loans before I had enough hours to get on with a regional.
So how big of a deal is it that my degree shows 13 years to complete since I'm not a doctor? Where is the best place to explain what happened and will it hurt my "score" when rating my application? Also, my driving record only goes back 8 years. I know I had a fender bender in my early 20's but it is not showing. Do I just guess on the dates or not include it since it is not on the official record?

Also, check out the delta hiring thread as the info there is probably much more helpful to someone trying to get called than the poolie info. Read that thing top to bottom.
Good luck!

I don't have a good answer for you on the college time, although I suspect 13 years will not improve your score. For the traffic tickets and fender benders try to remember as best you can. If you had repairs done your insurance or something might gove you clues.

There was. 40 flow throughs and only 5 off the street hires in that class. 15 June is 60 all off the street hires. Latest cjo I've seen on the thread for 15 June class was 8 April. Best guess is you'll be in the early or mid July class.

8/15 SSP hired yesterday, 11/15 on Tuesday. Congrats. The captains who were hired will likely start March-April 2016, the FOs are looking at around sept-October 2016 (depending on how many new captains receive CJOs via SSP)
