What did the junior guys get?

I'll bet a month's pay it was the MD-88...

ATL goes senior to NYC. My new hire class had guys passing up NYC 7ER to be based on anything in ATL. I'd bet on NYC 717 going junior.

For the folks that have recently gone through MD-88 training. How much time off did you have after Indoc before you started Sim training.

Depends on your class seniority. Most senior probably a week off. Most junior 3-4 weeks off. I had 2 off and was almost in the middle seniority wise. Indoc to finishing OE took a little less than 3 months.

Do new hires usually get paired with other new hires in the sim or with an upgrade/transition guy if there is one available?

If available they like to pair a captain with an f/o.

Nope. The last three guys all got the 717 NYC. You can send me a check.

They were pretty cagey about upcoming class info. Basically confirmed what you already know. 1 Class (20, I think) next Monday, 1 class in Dec. No word beyond that. We'll keep trying to pump them for more info. Good luck to all the swimmers. Hang in there.
