One of the individuals in question does have fixed wing time.... Little to zero.....

I should clarify...I haven't heard of anyone getting interviews with ZERO fixed wing time.

What's considered an early or late release?

To get to the ALV you have to work 14-16 days which would give you a minimum of 14 days off and a maximum of 17.
Even after a few years, would someone max out at 17 days off?

Definitely possible. Right now there are a few 5 day trips worth 29 hours. Do 2 of those to get to 58 hours then a 3 or 4 day to get into the LCW and in a 31 day month you could have up to 18 days off.

I've been in the 717 out of NYC for a couple months and I've seen 0500 reports (most early shows are 0600) and 0037 block outs. I have many more where I'm done my 10am on the last day.

Or, if you're super-senior (i.e., not "after a few years," but down the road): bid for high-time turns. Ten 8-hour turns (say) put you at 80:00 +/- for the month with 21 days off....

I'm definitely nowhere near that level of seniority.... But guys in my category do it month in & month out.... I can dream....

Anybody got info on class dates in September? Specifically 5 Sept (Labor Day). A friend of mine is asking. Thanks!
