In Jan 2017 ill be on 4th year pay
I can hold 330B in NYC and in 2017 my pay would be 179.51. As a E190A the pay rate is $182.

I rather sit in my bunk across the Atlantic rather than 5 legs a day

Good for you. That doesn't mean that everyone on 4th year pay will want to do that. Some people don't like time zone changes. That is why it's great to work here rather than someplace that flies only one kind of airplane. You have options. And just because it isn't your cup of tea doesn't make it bad. I personally have no desire to fly the 330/777. Doesn't mean I believe they are worthless airplanes. I've had my fill of international for now. So go have fun in Amsterdam.

Could I have your definition of B scale?

That's wasn't the point. I was comparing the pay rates.
Do you think a E190 left seat should make more than a wide body FO?

At DOS a 12 year 777B will make about $23 more than e190A but $11 less than a 717.

Mine? OK, A B scale was when the pay for all pilots was lowered for either 3 or 5 years in a lame attempt to lower pilot salaries overall. It affected ALL pilots in those years of service, not just on a specific airplane.

I don't believe in the bigger pays more pay scales anyway. They are stoopid and regressive. I am not a good one to argue that point with.

But, as I said, no one will be flying the E190 at 12 years, so that comparison is moot.

Why, yes I do.

That's why they make chocolate and vanilla ice cream; not everyone likes chocolate. I've been on the international gig for the last 12 years (ER-B and 777-B) Can't seem to make the math work out for the left seat for anything smaller than a 73N.

Lower pay for the E jet might not be fair, but I don't see it as a major issue. BTW, it wasn't all that long ago when the left seat in the ER (and the 330, I think) wasn't all that much more than $180/hour.

And not too much before that, it was in the neighborhood of $260 to $270 an hour. Or does that not count because we've already accepted a BK reset?

Can someone either post or point me in the right direction to get the actual language in LOA 15-01 that is attached to this TA? Thx

Denny
