I'm a new guy (1yr) on the 717...
Wouldn't even consider it. $130 to get beat up for 5 legs a day on an RJ vs $130 to fly as a FO on the ER at 2 to 3 year pay... Seems like a tough choice. Think I'll bid ER and go see Europe some more.

Here 1 year and already spoiled. Good for you. I wouldn't consider flying the MD88 or 717 either, but guess what, I wouldn't be number 1 on either.

The JetBlue rates here on APC show to be much higher. I guess you could add the 8% in for this TA, but Delta's would still be much lower. Lower to the point that B scale seems an appropriate description.

Capt/FO

-----------Delta-------JetBlue
12 yr-----139/95-----176/119
8 yr-------135/91-----167/110
4 yr-------131/83-----159/97

The TA stuff I have says:

12 yr CA 188
12 yr F/O 128

I used the Jan 2016 numbers since it will be at least that long before it gets on property.

Not enough for many, but not a B scale IMO.

Thanks...I should have looked there. Lazy and no interest of going to the E190.

Neither will anybody else that is at the 12 year mark. The E190 will be a new hire airplane. In both seats. Anybody that hangs around after 4 or 5 years will be doing so out of comfort and QOL choices rather than for money. They will be few and far between.

Except for the guys who want the Muscle Shoals virtual base.

How is that NOT a B scale. Nearly same cacity as the 717 with substantially more range for $40 less....

I think we will be surprised at how senior it goes in SEA.

Because it only affects one airplane,. You need to research what a B scale is.
