What happens when a LCA gets his bid with this new 2015 process and isn't happy with the trips. On the 20th he drops one of the ones that was pulled from the bid package and picks up a different trip. Now that trip that wasn't available to fill an FOs line is now in open time for both A and B?

Oh, and back to discussing the TA.

Let's get parked at the NMB for a few years...

Not get harassed when calling in sick...

Not give up widebody jobs...No B-Scale for junior folks...

AND cash our Profit Sharing Checks...

While we say...

Wait a minute, don't we get harassed now when we call in sick?

I missed the part in the TA about giving up wide body jobs. Where is that?

Also, doesn't this TA get rid of the B scale as it relates to the E190?

Oh, we don't think they'll do that....

for the Captains.

There will be more on reserve on the FO side to pick up said trip.

Heres a good chit chat point:

If, and it's a big if, this deal is worth 1.1B over it's 3 year life and Delta reports profits of around 2B for the second quarter, which is what's expected, the whole TA improvement will have been paid for by Delta in about 45 days. But this is the best we can get.
I'm going to double post this in the tafacts thread.

Read the new TA. I have.

I am shocked at how bad it is.

When reading it, just read what is "legally" and "contractually" allowed, and binding. Don't listen to anyone saying "these are their intentions". Intentions don't mean ****, just the legally binding stuff.

Read it and get back to us.

Industry standard?

Whose E190s pay more? I only took a cursory look at it to see that the captains pay for 3rd and 4th year guys pay more than anything they would likely be able to hold at that point. I'm not bidding it, but if I were a newbie I would consider it. Being the king doesn't suck. :)
