Well Carl. We will have to all take you at your word. Thank you for the clarification.

Would any of the companies you consult for benefit from either a change in union leadership or dal going non union?

Exactly right.

This was forwarded to me, doyd…

Generic Napkin Math, based on 2014 PS %, percentages if incorrect would still be comparable.

"Typical MD-88 Captain"

Rumored:

2015
75 hours @ $206 Jan thru July = $108,150
75 Hours @ $223 Aug - Dec = $83,430 (8% DOS)
Total Salary = $191,580
Est. Profit Sharing @ 16.5% = $31,610
Total Compensation = $223,190

2016
Salary @ 236 ( 6% -1/1/16) = $212,400
Est. Profit sharing = $23,347 (33% reduction or 5.75% decrease)
Total = $235,764

2 Year Total compensation with rumored raises= $458,954

Status Quo

2015
Salary @ $206 = $185,400
Est. Profit Sharing = $30,591
Total = $215,991
2016
Salary @ $212.18 = $190,962
Est. Profit Sharing = $31,508
Total = $222,470

2 Year Total compensation without TA = $438, 461

Rumored = 458, 954
Staus Quo = 438,661
Difference = $20,492 over 2 years or Approx 2.25% raise per year…….

Not in any way, shape or form. When you do this kind of work, you have to sign numerous documents disclosing any conflicts of interests or even the appearance of a conflict. It is something you have to watch very carefully because it's not enough to be non-conflicted with the airline or ALPA, it can't conflict with anything done by the other six companies.

The only way I would ever benefit from the decertification of ALPA would be my strong belief that what's remaining of my career at Delta would be better.

Also, I have personally never heard of an EK pilot getting his pay withheld. Anything else you would like to make up Grumble?
Well since I was at the Long Bar in the Roatan Towers a few weeks ago, and was told by my 777CA bud, and several of his friends, the same thing over multiple instances... you tell me. Suppose they didn't leave that pregnant flight attendant in South Africa a few years ago either?

Fact of the matter, is EK and the UAE have reprehensible labor and human rights laws... and even if any of those things didn't happen the fact that it's totally believable says a whole lot.

Hope you guys never planned on coming home and flying, you're helping them attack your home turf.

If these numbers/rumor is correct I'm trying to imagine what else would be in the TA that would prompt me to vote yes. I can't come up with enough stuff, and I have an active imagination.

It appears that these numbers are just multiplication and base month assumptions… With a reduction in PS, I just can't believe this acceptable to the MEC, let alone the members.

If this is the best we can do in RECORD TIMES, imagine what we give up when things may turn south……judas priest.

When c2012 TA was first announced the pay raise was leaked immediately. I presume to get the rank and file to vote No. Maybe this TA is better, since no leaks? Or it's so bad their afraid!
