I think they WANT to get off the PS water board they climbed up on, but they can still make a butt load of money and they don't HAVE to get off. IOW, if it costs too much, they can afford to say no.

I can tell you now. If the rumored give backs are only half true, and the rumored rates are accurate, we didn't get anything other concessionary contract in the most wildly profitable era of the airline industry, that has benefited and continues to from their new pricing paradigm. Unbundled Fees

We will find out for real what the deal is on Tuesday. I hope your rumors are not true. I am willing to listen to all and have an open mind. I fear that many are so upset with DALPA that they cannot approach any deal with an open mind.

How much was that stock buy back and dividend package for?

The buy back stuff worries me. I see the rebirth of Leo and Michelle Burns with that one. Not good.

Time to move labor peace to the edge of the table. Careful with that! That labor peace is made of fine bone China. It breaks easily.

True dat.

Apparently our reps do need reminding, since there is a strong possibility that we're about to see an epic fail, vice an "historic" contract.

Don't see any reason to "debate" further with someone who wants to grant concessions during times of $6B buy backs.

Good Day.

I sold my home several years ago for a gain. For there to be winners, there must be losers.

You've had an interesting first 3 posts. Are you a Delta pilot?

I agree WRT not accepting a bad deal. Thinking the deal will not have any items that the company wants (and perceived as give backs by us) probably won't happen, IMO. It's all in the details....

Ted's house is upside down. I didn't see that in the contract survey. Since every council has advised against listening to the rumor mill I was thinking we should start some more rumors. Seems to be about all APC is good for. Won't be long folks and we will have actual information. Good luck on the house. I just sold some property for a loss. It wasn't fun, but that's life. OFG

Not a pilot, but work for Delta.

It's not a quote from a movie. It is just a realization that life won't always be what you expect it to be and we well be both throughout our lives.

You guys should start identifying yourselves as such....

What do you do for Delta?

Is posting on this website part of your job description?
