They should atleast have hotdogs and sodas, not to mention fireballs to help put the heat on the front side and cool the back side. Fruitless, but a fun way to vent.

The company is very smart and our association plays along. The company already did its home work and knows how the vote will go. Pilots care about one thing and that is themselves, so the company uses that.
*About to retire in 3-4 years most likely a yes
*possible junior capt e190(offer them 20 only if yes vote)=yes
* those who are scared to ever vote no on anything=yes
*smoke screen of 8% now forget the mine field of poor language=yes
They will get their 60%. Then we will get the famous ALPA line we did not think they would do that. Did the company wait to displace 747 guys until after this mess on purpose, how come it takes 18months to put extra 1% in my 401k but sick leave can be implemented now. why only 3% raises when the reduction in profit sharing occurs, and hats optional did not even make the TA my vote is NO

I'm not a "sir." I'm just an F/O that has been cured of busted hemmoroids...they've been pushed back inside. No more burning and itching, thanks ALPA!

I agree this is how the company & union calculated the vote. I think they severely miscalculated and it is not how people will actually vote. 58-42 No, I called it here. //someone who would likely hold E190A within the year, wouldn't mind flying it especially to move back west, and is voting No along with all my friends in same seniority bracket.

I meant HEMORRHOIDS, but spellcheck changed my word...let's hope we don't have a "votecheck" around the corner!

While part of me finds that a bit juvenile it is pretty inspired. I think the best reply from your reps would have been "that's a good one!"

ALPA has no sense of humor. Otherwise, they would be laughing at this TA, too.

Would it have been less or more juvenile if he just started punching the first rep he came in contact with?

We are talking ATL reps here.

It might be they waited to displace the 747 guys because the block hour plan requires them for the summer flying. Who knows perhaps that's why they added FO's in a recent bid. Black helicopters can be more fun however!
