Atl 73--flew with 2 Capts and two jump sweaters over past week. 1 Capt was a "reluctant yes"--doesn't like the TA but will take the money. Other Capt was "yes"--thinks this is the best we are going to get. 1 jumpseat FO was a strong NO, but is concerned the future will be neither amicable nor gentlemanly. The other JS hates the TA is leaning towards no but is still undecided.

Just curious...
Has anyone asked "yes" voters focused on the PAY PAY PAY if they like the TA assuming a worst case scenario....that global economic crisis hits and profits collapse??
Have this possibility (increasingly a probability) even crossed their minds as they eye-ball money that isn't even in their accts yet???

SayAlt,
A P2P guy I flew with used the looming financial crisis as his main reason to vote yes. Profit sharing won't matter anymore because we won't be making profits. But the extra 50k he'll be making...well the company can't take that away from him. (I proofread that, and yes, you read it right).
In other ATL news, I was taking care of the PDP in my office in the A lounge the other day when some guy walked in and exclaimed, "Whoa! It smells like the new contract in here!"
Classic.
