I don't understand the 8% carrot thingy for senior guys....
Back out inflation (and yes, it does matter) and it's basically 5% over three years!
Certainly not worth selling our profession and the junior guys down the river.
Don't forget, the above along with very large work rule CONCESSIONS during the MOST profitable time in airline history!
I honestly don't know how this thing ever made it to a vote.
Voted NO, now 44 must go!

I'm on a trip right now with 3 other ATL based 777 pilots, all 4 of us are a "Hell NO!".
The other 3 aren't even aware of this web board or chitchat, they just read the TA and saw all the concessions, vs the tiny pay raises, and said NFW.
All 4 of us voted yes in 2012 because we were told we would never see those two 3% raises! And what does this TA have? Two more 3% raises! But we get to pay for those with more concessions!
Oh, let me add this, I called another ATL 777 Captain buddy of mine, he's a NO, and I talked to a couple 777 F/O's last week, both NO! I have not yet found a Yes voter in ATL. I hope the NLRB will monitor the voting, as I do not trust ALPA at all, given that all these TA's seem to pass by the same 62-38.
But this TA is so bad, even the perpetual ATL YES voters noticed!

That's what I was thinking, every time I come across someone standing around in the lounge, they seem to be a yes vote....... I was beginning to wonder.

I don't know who it was, but a kind gentleman just offered me a "Vote No" lanyard and bag tag here in the ATL lounge. Many others took him up on the offer, many didn't. I don't believe everyone who didn't raise their hand to take him up on the offer is for the TA (some may be), but maybe just don't care for advertising their position. JMHO. I was glad to take him up on his offer. Both are now proudly on display.

On a separate note I noticed that a new letter was sent out that seemed to be another modification of the sick policy. It promised that ALPA had a binding agreement with the company that our medical info would not be released to the FAA. Was this in the original TA or is this actually new?
Beyond that though, I still want to know what happens if you have to verify something that no third party can verify? Then what happens?
What possible use to anyone is the medical records release, since you won't have to deal with that until you've already had to verify an illness anyway?
The way it seems is that its going to be used as a double whammy for pilots out sick with things that a third party can't empirically verify. Verification: no. Records check: also by definition no. You've now been "caught" twice according to them, and the assumption of you lying is made and reinforced and you can't prove your innocence. So now what happens? Bottom line, when you call out sick, you better make dam sure you have easily (hostile third party) verifiable symptoms or else you better fly with whatever it is you have. Period.
