Thanks for the post but that sounds terrible. Many of us here have been to the sandbox one too many times. I'd rather work the graveyard shift at home depot with MD11 than go to the ME3.

Looking forward to lots of profit sharing, OE trip drops, not getting hassled for calling in sick, and more widebody flying to comply with the JV scope.
Post of the year. (And I'm just a bystander.)

He should take some of the blame because he is now in saving face mode because of the over-reach agreement that our sellout DALPA allowed. He also should not have put his foot in his mouth saying TA2 will take longer(dah) and will not be as good(not) which pi$$ed off a lot of pilots. RA's stance on sick call abuse (not knowing flying sick is an faa violation even if its just a minor sickness that other professions can go to work with) So yes RA should take just as much blame as Mr. Doughnutbelly mec chairman. I do agree RA is a smart Business man, but got complacent with the standard Spineless DALPA group that finaly got a backbone. DO THE RIGHT THING RA OR BECOME ANOTHER LORENZO(how is he doing these days?)

Sorry, but that's how most of us mechanics view you pilots. We may be nice to your face but we think you all are soft. Sorry...

So, MD-11, I guess being a "pu$$y with soft hands" looked pretty good to you at one time or another?

BTW, I built a 64 Chevelle from a pile of parts in my garage, and I still change my own oil and mow my own lawn. No soft hands here.
