What's sad, is you can tell this particular person is a bit of a bully. We all know bullies, when you're growing up they're a thing, when you become a grown up you realize they're simply neglected by their fathers and insecure about themselves. So if anything, you kind of feel bad. But then, you're kind of entertained, I won't lie.

Yes. And for those who thought he cares about employees, this whole situation finally shows his true colors. The only reason the relationship seemed so amicable is because the pilots never had enough courage to say no. We played the role of battered spouse for too long. Its time to fix that.

I'm no company shill, but RA worked under Lorenzo as a very low-level attorney writing aircraft purchase contracts, IIRC. Good ole Frank probably didn't even know his name...

Ah, no one of the first things he did involved a crash in Denver that exposed them to huge financial risk. I think Frank probably knew Who Richard was. This springboarded his career.

Battered spouse syndrome? GMAFB. How long have you been at this airline anyway? Based on your 717 FO tag I am assuming not long (though I could be wrong; we have a few senior 717 FOs out there).

If I am correct (no more than a couple of years) you have seen nothing but rose-colored glasses and sweet smelling grasses for your DAL career. You can criticize a poor TA all you like--as have many of us.

You have ZERO right to be calling the rest of your fellow pilots guilty of "battered spouse syndrome" when you don't even know what you don't even know.

If I am incorrect and you were furloughed after 9/11 and ate a sh!t sandwich for years...then fire away.

You are really over the top. This is business. GMAB with the batteered wife stuff. How can you be so bitter after such a short time here? We voted no because it was a bad deal period!

Sounds like the majority of the members of our functioning (or dysfunctional) Shadow MEC and a few Yes voting reps.

Sorry, but that's how most of us mechanics view you pilots. We may be nice to your face but we think you all are soft. Sorry...
When I got my A&P Mechanic's license, I was already a pilot. I always tried to be respectful toward all my co-workers because I know a jealousy thing can easily be turned into people thinking you're arrogant and unapproachable.

While I certainly don't care about your opinion of pilots, your overt arrogance is something you should try to work on...right after you look up the word "overt." Oops, see there, I was you for a second.
