Sure thing, Dad..easy to be a tough guy sitting in the left seat of a 74 and chastise the FO who doesn't agree with you. I'll just shut up and let you run the show. Gotta go fly..oh wait, I should just call in sick and throw in a green slip with a LCA to stick it to the Man..maybe then you'd have some respect for those of us who have a different opinion than the angry mob.
This site has become nothing more than a DPA echo chamber, but that was the goal all along, wasn't it?
Good luck with your recalls and witch-hunts. CG Out

And make sure you tell the other guys sitting next to you who voted yes that they're "bed-wetters"..maybe they'll be able to hold it until the next lav break cause they've got such a tough guy in the other seat.

I'm not a rep or P2P..just a line pilot who voted yes. Thanks for the insight on how the no voters and/or the DPA will work to bring all Delta pilots together for a better TA than the one you just rejected.
Yeah, I'm ready to send in a card as long as you lead the way..not.

How about this, what business justification is there to cancel the order?
All I can think of is that they didn't get the concessions they wanted. Otherwise, the only reason to say no is because it was a threat carrot used to persuade pilots to vote yes.

Even though the TA would have benefitted my personal situation..I didn't vote yes because I wanted to fly a 190..I thought the pro's outweighed the con's..like I mentioned in my previous posts. For me, recapturing mainline flying, whether it is in DTW or SLC, was worth the sick and LAC concessions in the TA.
But my opinion doesn't matter..
Hope the No Voter Tough Guys keep talking smack to those who voted yes..a split pilot group will bring RA back to the table in no time.

Or it could have been a legitimate attempt to recapture mainline flying. And I saw an A350 sitting in the hangar last night on the way out to 26L. We're getting 242T 330's, 350's, 330 NEO's..how does switching to WB block hours trade WB flying for NB recapture? And yes, the plan was to put the 190's out west.

Come on man? Listen to yourself. I hardly consider myself a "No Voter Tough Guy" . I feel like a "don't want all those concessions and voted No on the merit of the contract while feeling my union let me down guy". Wew had to catch my breath. Seriously, now is not the time for sour grapes.
In the end we will ALL have to fix this mess no matter whose to blame.

We've finally made clear that pilots don't
- buy airplanes
- fix staffing issues caused by management's miscalculations
Looking forward to enjoying a zero concession summer!
