As weak as I thought the TA was, I thought it would just barely pass by low 50%. As far as I'm concerned, judging by our past contract acceptance, EB hit us right between the eyes in terms of a barely passable contract. Our union failed to sell it to us. I was a no vote from the get-go, but the minute MD screamed PEB, I think a lot of guys that were on the fence, got suspicious as to his motive.

Now the sleeping giant has had enough of, "This will set us up for our next contract", and "We aren't going to even see those last two 3% raises. It is finally next time....we aren't going to get them next time, we are going to get them this time! Thank you fellow C44 pilots. Especially those in there last few years who could have taken the money and ran.

Sorry for the duplicate post. I was going to delete it but it is such a masterpiece of motivation, I think everyone should read it twice.

Did you read my contract survey? Your words/sentiment mirror what I wrote in "1500 words or less" on this latest Contract Survey. This pilot group will no longer stand for, "we'll get 'em next time" and "we didn't think the company would do that."

Someone who has been listening to me complain about the union and company for 30 years just asked me if the pilots will grow a pair and finally do something about it.

Hopefully back to the line to get some perspective on why 2 out of 3 of us said HELL NO.
