12 o'clock position means Automatic Operation per system logic.

Delta has about 300 to 400 pilots that have 5000+ hours in the 170/190 family. It should be a breeze for us bucks to get reacquainted
....once they change that pay rate

Any idea where they'll be based?

Amen brother. Don't get me wrong, this is good news but let's keep things in perspective - the company and DALPA did just try and sell a TA in which they insisted that any mainline fleet growth was absolutely contingent on passing a concessionary contract. Bait and switch. The failed TA was full of it and I'm expecting the next one to be similar...keeping my eye on the ball.

It'll instead just be a bunch of Delta d!ckheads.
FTB gets it, he always has.

Or his alternate sign in, that he created during the TA vote.

Maybe the mods (LIKE YOU) should enforce the TOS unilaterally, ya think?

The rates are terrible but this order certainly is good news. However, unless we get an adjustment to our block hour ratio with DCI, these might just be replacement jets. Get the pay up and improve the scope language.

One eye opener for me has been to see how many 88 routes DAL has given to the 717 that's 26% smaller.

It makes me think when the 88 goes it very well could be replaced by the 190, except I doubt they'd do 174 E10s. More like 100 E190s and 40 739s to retain all of the capacity if that's what they even wanted to do. Or maybe 70 E190s, 40 739s and 20 320 on the used market.

Who knows, it's their call anyways not ours, but the pay is our call and I think to totally treat the E190 and 88s as if they don't have overlap would be a mistake.

The rates will take care of themselves. DAL is very concerned about the level of experience in the cockpit, especially the left seat. It's a major issue right now. Not a chance we'll see these on the property with C2012 rates, it'll get fixed one way or the other. Either way, more leverage for us.

Also worth noting- probation ends when upgrading to Capt. Having a new hire go straight to the left seat of an Ejet would deprive DL of the probationary period and all the associated checks and indoctrination. Not happening.
