Lot's of people are saying this will go Jr. band it with the 717 rates and I would fly this over a mad dog. Also put it somewhere other than NY or Atlanta.

West coast. Doubt it ever gets banned but it should be since it will outperform the 717.

The rates in the "re-engagement opener" has the 190 rates same as the 717 rates.

I guess the plan was to base them in SEA. Will these replace the 717's out west on the 'shuttle' routes? Now that we have a new Crew Resources guru who just opened the LAX 777 base, I wonder if they'll consider other options, like SLC? More gate space there, plus a hangar and a sim building...

Gate space?? In SLC?? Nope. Airport construction about to start big time.. (Less gates next 6+ years) Hanger, yes... sim building is all SkyWest, one open bay thats slated for a SKY E175 sim....

Any ideas on why Delta used the phase " up to 20" E-190's?

Should pay more than the 717 based on range. The MD88 vs. A320.

Actually our crew planning guys say they can add an entire extra bank of flying into SLC very easily even with the new terminal construction. They have looked at this a number of times to deal with gate restraint issues in LAX and SEA. I doubt the 190 will be based in SLC, but it is the only place we have access to gates in the short term out west right now.

I'm being pessimistic.

It needs to pay the same
