Anyways... a VA merger isn't going to happen, and the reality is in between on how the SLI would play out.
Since VA and DAL merging is so likely, I thought I'd share a video of new technology that has already been instituted.

When have I ever discussed Harwood getting the boot? You're the only one bringing that up. I assume the MEC had a reason, they've just been tight lipped about it. If there is a merger I'm sure the MEC and/or the Merger Committee will ask him for help.

You're correct. Think Pineapple..

That didn't work out so well......

Companies would have to be kept separate to satisfy any legacy scope clause, but employees aren't content with that solution.

And Legacy would have to divest of the shares of said regional.
I was thinking more like the way Southwest bought Airtran.

JMHO I think the Airtran purchase was the deal that has forever changed SWA. A third of their front line employees treated like 2nd class baggage. In an industry where attitude means so much.

Oh absolutely. but that was the blueprint for circumventing McCaskill/Bond. Door number 1)Buy, merge with ****ty deal. Door number 2) Create holding company, take assets, furlough when assets are all gone.... done. Door number 3) Offer even ****tier deal than door number 1.

Delta will eventually buy Hawaian in about 3 years and after a new CBA ( watch your scope and fragmentation Captain Malone. Don't give anything up for the big raise they will offer in pay and no profit sharing changes)

Richard will be on the board of Hawaian after he retires from Delta
and Hawaian will buy Virgin America this year (sorry JB )

All pre planned just like busting the unions at NWA and merging with DL

45 330s , about 80 320/21s and 20 some 717s
It will not be a bad deal if merge and not spun off as a DL subsidiary
DL will start getting the 717s this year watch it

And I am not advocating this as a way to do it just pointing out that the blueprint has been drawn.
