This got me interested so I took a look at coverage in DTW. Aside from the wide bodies, there are ZERO days with enough coverage to drop a trip (or APD most of the time) in the 7er, 320, 73n or 717B for the rest of the month. Next month the 7er = 1 day, 73n = 10 days, 320 = zero and 717 =11 days, that have enough coverage to drop a trip. The 73n days are mostly in 1 or 2 day chunks...not a lot of those trip in the bid packet. The 717 has one 5 day block, two 2 day blocks and the a few 1 day blocks. Again, not a lot of 2 days in that bid packet. This is pretty much how it has been for quite a while. So I guess you're right, some do have decent coverage and they're all wide bodies.

I would love a 75 hour cap! I generally shoot for high 60s/low 70s anyway, and never pick up anything other than an occasional GS if I happen to bid reserve that month. I bid min credit and RLL but rarely ever get it. When it has been honored, I was still award >75 hours, and was unable to get rid of anything that month (including swap board). This happens way more often than not.

So. Once again there is guy saying one thing, everybody is well staffed, and you are providing facts disputing his post. Shocking.

Swap board, hahahaha. Only in ATL. Everywhere else it's a joke.
