It definitely looks like the market price for Pilots is on the rise - good news for us.

I had to let that sink in for a minute.

It won't be long before it becomes embarrassing to say you work for Delta.
The greed of our management is slowly going to kill this company.

This management regime more and more begins to resemble the Mullin bunch.
Bleed every last dollar out of the corporation and then flee to your Miami condos. Who cares if you leave behind a pile of wreckage? You got yours.

Delta stock now down in the mid $30s. Good thing they executed all those billions of stock buybacks when it was in the mid $40s. Pure genius.

You do realize that Allegient is one of the most profitable airlines in the world, right?

Their margins are well in to the double digits, while the legacy carriers have margins around 8% --

We're getting no shows for interviews now. People aren't cancelling or rescheduling, they are just no showing because they don't want to work here.

Hearing Allegiant 12 year pay will be $216 per hour for captains and $145 for first officers. Our new hires get 717 and MD-88 which both pay less than Southwest. At United the worst plane you get is 737 or 320 which both pay more than our ER. Good news is if we don't get a decent contract soon, the applicants will dry up. I never believed it was possible, but I'm starting to think differently now. All of my friends have moved on from the regionals. Every single one of them.

A close friend that is now involved with hiring at DAL was commenting recently that they have two years worth of resumes on file that meet the hirable criteria.....! Interesting times.

Those same two years worth of resumes "on file" are also on file at AA, UAL, SWA, and FedEx. In two years when they have no applicants, they are going to come to us and look for JV scope relief because we won't have bodies to fly the domestic schedule and international schedule. It will become our problem to solve once again.

AA already has us beat as far as seniority progression. UAL beats us in widebody flying opportunies and career earnings...10 year 787 FO's over there are making more than our 20 year narrowbody captains right now. FedEx has a retirement. Coming to DAL guarantees you a 717 job in LGA, paying $3000 for a hotel during training, and another $1500 for a uniform.

Industry leading payrates, JV scope, newhire uniforms and hotels paid for might help.

Our margins are over 16%...more than double the 8% you mention.

Thanks for playing

No, most majors, not this one.

Sadly, our margins are only forecast to be 17-19%
