Default Reps need your input!

Word on the street is that the reps are only hearing from a minority of the pilot group. In other words many of us are not voicing our opinions to those that represent us.

Whatever your views on the AIPs are, please convey those to your reps. It only takes a few minutes of your time to email your council reps. Better yet, call them, it's their job to listen to your concerns and opinions.

These message boards are great for gathering information and exchanging ideas, but at the end of the day things on this board will not change the reps opinions. Messages to your reps will!

If you're venting on APC and Chit Chat and not to your reps, you're doing it wrong!

I don't think they need us to tell them that concessions in this environment is not cool.

The reps will get what they deserve if they vote yes for this BS.

While I agree with the sentiment of talking with Reps, it should largely be unnecessary given the outright rejection of TA15 and the overwhelming amount of information gathered by them about our dissatisfaction with last years attempt. They should not require a daily deluge of calls and emails to represent our interest. Otherwise I would start to think them incompetent or mindless at best. The reps and the negotiating committee clearly have a picture of what industry leading contract means. They clearly should have an understanding of the QOL goals of this group and the compensation that would be identifiable as industry leading. If they do not, forget every 24 hours etc. then they are incompetent and either they or the entire union needs to be replaced. I think probably the latter. This entire process is remniscent of how Trump describes how our government functions.

Yes! It's not like we have been surveyed and resurveyed, and voted down the first TA in dal history, and attempted a wholesale dump of former Dalpa representation... including the MC.

Yes, by all means, let them finally know what is on the minds of dal pilots, with an email. Why would we think they don't know what we are all about?

"Dear rep,
Please gut/sacrifice my pwa for the continued success of a national union sucking more dues money for the benefit of those lucky enough to occupy union positions that pay what you can hold and not work under the pwa negotiated." More manipulation, Less quality of life... rah, rah

Unfortunately, some still do.

And there is some value even if they do get it to have them see email inboxes with hundreds of angry emails and voicemail boxes overflowing to remind them how we feel.

Sorry for setting bar so low, but sent this-

Sir,
The removal of voluntary verification of sick leave is unacceptable. Put that back in and I think I can live with the rest of it.

And received back-

I have now read hundreds of emails that say the same thing that you do. I am fighting that fight.
