Just-in-time manning, with a Network department that can't plan more than a month ahead? I don't see how this delay won't leave money on the table. They don't even have to train immediately (convert by 6 months, right?)... what's the harm in slow-rolling training on a handful of crews? Completely new airplane (to us and almost new to the manufacturer), new vendor, new avionics...I'm shocked that they aren't trying to get in front of this thing with the massive seniority list we've finally built up over the last several years.

I suspect if true it simply means that the first jet will arrive in Nov. with delays that might be as soon as they can get them. That would mean a Dec in service date.
