I don't understand where you are coming from. Are we supposed to hope for no negotiating? If we vote no again so be it. But lets keep the process moving forward.

You said you were a QOL guy, I asked you which of the AIPS improve that for you?

All I will say so far about the current AIPs is that on the whole they decrease my QOL by what I would call a small amount. But I will withhold judgement on my vote until I see the entire TA. Could be yes, could be no. Again, how is negotiations moving forward not a good thing?

We'll have an AIP in short order is my guess. Or we won't, then it will be a couple of years. Morale will sink very low despite the hiring and new Surface tablets. Delta will become 4th or 5th airline of choice to work for. Ed will get quite a bit more wealthy and we'll be *****ing for years.

The negotiating committee was given some latitude to meet the company part way. The NMB appears to feel it might lead to a agreement.

So just a few more concessions on our part.....great. Can't wait to vote NO again.

Fair enough. My opinion is we are already 18 percent or so below legacy pay, more than that due to fedex and ups. Even if the company took our counter proposal as is, we are barely there. AIPs only put us further behind. I believe negotiations are a good thing, the quicker we shoot down an industry lagging deal, the sooner we can come up with a proposal worthy of industry leading.

Just let them negotiate. Seems like quite a few people are afraid the company will cough up the money and we might get a deal. Now why would that be?
