Or you could run for office yourself. You don't have to attend to be elected.

That's how they play this game. They know how it works and for years kept people in the dark. Interim reps only get voted by the people at the meeting. It's why they didn't publish the meeting date until after bids have closed, that way they can stack the votes for who they want.

I nominate JJ and CK. I'll need a second.

I don't have any dog in this fight (err election). However, having to be there to vote is beyond ridiculous. This is 2017, online ballots should be done for all elections and ratification votes. Welcome to the internet age DALPA.

Stand by for the return of the "old guard" who brought us TA15 (the ****ty one).

TOTAL BS that we cannot vote on-line for our reps. Union politics at it's worse.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...

The homework has been done... reasons reports were crosschecked and no statistically significant number bid for it off. Let's back off this theory.

It's not like you pay thousands of dollars of your hard earned money each year in dues crewdawg...silly that you want your voice to be heard each and every time that it should be! You don't pay enough money for that!

The thought has crossed my mind. I just don't want to split the vote against DN.

Ok. Reasonable response.

FWIW, I had a long chat with DN in the ATL lounge a few years ago and found him to be well read on the issues. The topic was the Pacific LOA, and he had a very keen understanding of the history of NRT flying and the vulnerability of 5th Freedom rights. I was surprised that a pre-merger Delta guy knew how NRT flying had evolved during the 80's - 00's.
