It's going to look like they were "installed" after a coup. Like the whole thing was rigged.

Not good if they have future ambitions.
Did you feel the same way about the interim reps during the last "coup?"

Should be an interesting meeting.
Neither of those two will be recalled, they represented C44 pilots.

Once again, I'll ask why you suspect that?

Because, I can point to the same type of circumstantial evidence to make a case that just 53% of ATL pilots felt that way.

I also wonder if the breakdown is available of how the pilots voted captain vs. FO's. I was surprised that more than a few FO's I flew with were very luke warm towards the TA. Even the ATL one's I met.

What's done is done though. Atlanta business if Atlanta business. I just hope you guys don't push things too far.

Pretty much. I think it smells bad to put someone in there as "interim" who plans to run for the permanent seat. Whatever though.

I just hope maybe they surprise me and find some new faces. We could really use a fresh perspective. Put some new hires in there. Somebody neutral. Somebody who is not loyal to either faction.

If the "powers that be" from the office in Atlanta who have always controlled our LEC meetings roll out a couple of the usual suspect/career ALPA types, I think you will hear a collective loud groan from the line pilots.

Um. One voted Yes on the TA.

Reluctantly at the very end after working diligently to kill it. He knew that there was overwhelming support. Even so I gave him a pass because he at least listened on that issue.

Hope you get what the council desires. Any names out for interim or full reps?
