Don’t blame you for not wanting to commute. Me either. That’s why I moved to be in the bases I want to work in.

It’s not management’s job to regulate your family time, nor should they care how you get home. Just as McDonalds, Wal Mart, J.P. Morgan, Kohl’s, Home Depot doesn’t care how THEIR employees get back and forth to work. They only care that you work when you are supposed to, and that you foster an environment wherein a profit can be made.

Morgan, Kohl’s, Home Depot doesn’t care how THEIR employees get back and forth to work. Your family values sound pretty strong, and I applaud that. At the end of any career, or life itself, the ONLY thing that will matter is your loved ones.
