Well I live next to Ed and he said we will get the C series in 2019.
Also a flow is coming as well.

I am in the know.
You forgot to mention that he said it was guaranteed flow to Delta as an FA for 2 years, 1 as a gate agent, then as a pilot if you’re still current. Solid. Gold. Guarantee.

Actually he said it was straight flow and we keep our current seniority.
They are just working out how to keep Avroman off the list.

If it takes him the same amount of time to get that type that it took him to finally get the CL-65, he'll be retired before the checkride.

The Delta leadership doesn't need 2 weeks, they changes plans within 2 hours. Plan on the whiteboard from first meeting of the morning is wiped away by lunchtime.

No need to scheme, I will volunteer not to go for the better of everyone else here. I would actually be happy to see anyone that wants to go over be able to go without all the BS.

Thank you for your vote of confidence. It is in my very name to bring the best beat I can dance to. I mentioned somewhere that a few weeks ago, (three mondays ago I believe) a deal fell through between TSH and mainline. This has changed the dynamic thinking and planning with regards to delta Networking. The original plan (hearsay for legalities), in my opinion, was for 9E to get all 36 of CZ planes in an acquisition from TSH. (TransStates Holdings if you’re just tuning in). This is part of a regional consolidation plan for delta to have better connection reliability and cross-carrier coverage between CRJ and ERJ flight schedules. If Skywest craps out a route from LGA to RSW on the ERJ, 9E or RP can recover. This is the whole reason for 3-carrier connection goal.

TSH gave delta the cold shoulder in acquiring CZ by not lowering their price. Deal fell through. That means we don’t get 175s and our hiring picks back up where it left off. Now, that’s all three-week-old news. I’m sure delta has recalibrated. I’m just not aware YET of what’s boiling. Again, acquiring CZ is the only way to get those assets to 9E without disrupting their flight schedules. Doing it the EV way proved too costly and aircraft being out of service for far too long. Turkey has been served.

Officially, these are my opinions and represent zero facts. TIFWIW

Sounds like history repeating itself. There is no way TSH is going to give up pilots in this environment.

Well they don’t have to, I believe anyways? Couldn’t they just do an integration to one of the other TSA companies? Of course training would be a mess, but it will be if the planes go without the pilots anyways?

E175SC's are on the menu. 70 seaters to replace CRJ700's
from a certain operator and to be operated by 9E.
