Remember
When you interview you are interviewing them as well. Ask questions!
Reserve in New York will be a year for new hires. New York is expensive and you are responsible for two airports. Still no Lyft account we’ve been told is coming. Wait until you have to sit in the LGA crewroom for eight hours from 5am and not get to fly.
Keep in mind all these announcements can and will change. History has a way of repeating itself ie; Comair and Express Jet.
The 175 rumor has been around for years. The day before they were coming they were cancelled.
I think the big D pilots, as other major airlines, are getting tired of all these regional jets flying around. As contracts come up, those pilots will have a bigger say in regional jet operations.
Honestly, if the D is your goal you may be better off on the outside. IMHO, the propel project tells us what the D thinks of us but that’s maybe just me. Lots of victims of the DGI and SSP.
Only three companies have a guaranteed flow AND it’s working fine. I’d go to one of those first then the Big U regionals.
No, EDV is not the worst but, it just doesn’t offer what others do. The pay scales are ok but they needed to pay that to keep people in NY.
50$ an hour x 75 is low for NY.
In summary, if you’re going to fly for the regionals get the most you can out of it. You don’t have to stay at an AA wholly owned but you will get a flow if you do.
Best of luck to all.

The Union is meeting with Delta about guaranteed career progression. Pay and QOL are much better at Endeavor than other wholly owned. 1st year pay is $60k.
How do you know how happy AA is with their flows, you don’t.
Double no’s are not victims they were unlucky, possibly Unprepared or have your attitude.

EDV is a great place to work. We actually have good management and are treated very well. Yes some things need improvement AKA crew scheduling during a IROP but overall this is a awesome place to be with great co workers.
Everyone knows NY is expensive and most people don't live there. Everyone coming to EDV knows that NYC is what they will get for a base. Reserve times have creeped up but we are also hiring 50+ pilots a month again.

As someone looking to leave a WO for Republic or Endeavor I can tell you all there are issues at the WO that negate the flow. If you’re waiting a full 6-7 for your number to come up then ok, but I why put your ultimate career goals in that kind of basket instead flow being th backup plan?
When I interviewed with Republic a few days ago even their HR had praise for Endeavor. That says a lot IMO

Hmmm
So, offer a different perspective or opinion and get personally attacked. I am not sour nor do I have a bad attitude. I disagree with some things on here but have not made it personal. So thank you Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.
We are not hiring 60+ a month yet.
We do not have a flow.
We do not have 175s.
New Hires will be on Reserve for a year.
We simply cannot handle massive expansion. Its why we slowed in the first place
Yes, EDV is an ok place to work but it's still a regional.
Now disagree/agree but stop with the personal attacks, it's unbecoming!
