Reserve in New York will be a year for new hires. New York is expensive and you are responsible for two airports. Still no Lyft account we’ve been told is coming. Wait until you have to sit in the LGA crewroom for eight hours from 5am and not get to fly.

Keep in mind all these announcements can and will change. History has a way of repeating itself ie; Comair and Express Jet.

The 175 rumor has been around for years. The day before they were coming they were cancelled.

I think the big D pilots, as other major airlines, are getting tired of all these regional jets flying around. As contracts come up, those pilots will have a bigger say in regional jet operations.

Honestly, if the D is your goal you may be better off on the outside. IMHO, the propel project tells us what the D thinks of us but that’s maybe just me. Lots of victims of the DGI and SSP.

Only three companies have a guaranteed flow AND it’s working fine. I’d go to one of those first then the Big U regionals.

No, EDV is not the worst but, it just doesn’t offer what others do. The pay scales are ok but they needed to pay that to keep people in NY.
50$ an hour x 75 is low for NY.

In summary, if you’re going to fly for the regionals get the most you can out of it. You don’t have to stay at an AA wholly owned but you will get a flow if you do.

Best of luck to all.

Seriously apply to a AA WO and tell
Us how it is. I’m basically begging you. So do that, come back and tell us how awesome it is. Please. Do it. I’ll Even pay for your expenses to go interview there. Seriously

Otherwise quit being a pilot, find a office job because your a 40 year old whiner.

Endeavor is not a perfect Company but being a expat from another regional myself , it’s a great company whose given me a fantastic oppurtunity I wouldn’t have gotten at my last airline.

We get it, you’re life sucks. But for most of us, they know they’re getting into

We are not hiring 60+ a month yet.
We do not have a flow.
We do not have 175s.
New Hires will be on Reserve for a year.
We simply cannot handle massive expansion. Its why we slowed in the first place

Yes, EDV is an ok place to work but it's still a regional.

Now disagree/agree but stop with the personal attacks, it's unbecoming!
1) Correct, we are not hiring 60+ a month, we are hiring 50+ a month. Yes I do know this as I have a few friends in recruitment who have confirmed class sizes of 25 people with 2 classes a month.
2) We never had a flow, always had the DGI so I have no clue why this is some negative thing. Do we as a pilot group want something better, absolutely but the DGI was always in place and you knew that coming in.
3) Who cares that we don't have 175s. Is that our growth plan who knows, maybe it is all CRJs but who cares there is obvious growth plans for us. There would be no reason to be ramping up hiring again and hiring 26 new FTIs if we were not getting airplanes.
4)Reserve time is creeping up right now but still has not hit 1 year in NYC. Reserve time in ATL/MSP definitely is over 1 year. DTW seems to change every month. Yes it is longer than it previously was.
5) We can handle a lot more growth than you probably think. Recruiting is not a problem here and training would be the only backup which can handle roughly 60 a month as it stands today, if they really want us to grow faster all we need is more sims to do it.

I agree we are just a regional, but for just being a regional we are treated extremely well and get paid very well. No we are not Delta and people need to stop thinking we are Delta, not specific to you or if you think that but so many people run around thinking they are Delta. We are Endeavor and we have a great company culture here.

What to expect from the phone interview? Nothing about it on interview prep websites.

It goes mainly like,
Recruiter Roleplay
“does this person have a pulse, can they hold a convo for 5 minutes when telling me about their history, do they have the amount of hours, if not when will you hit your hours, cool bro I’ll send you an email right now and about a week before your in person interview you’ll receive an email with travel arrangements”

Just a recent timeline. 21 days from application to email asking to set up a phone interview.

So HR type questions but maybe not TMAAT stuff. No technical questions from the gouge?

Not on the phone. It's literally just a screen to make sure you're qualified to come interview
