There were 300 people hired every 6 months for the last 3 years... upgrade times here will not be what they were in 2017/2018 ever again.

I think he's serious, for a long time we were lucky to see any new upgrades on a vacancy and those vacancies came every 6 months if we were lucky.

Recent history has clearly been different but many of us lived through a time with 9-10 year upgrade times at this airline.

At some point the music always slows or stops. Hopefully it's just a lull until our growth this fall or the DGI picks up and pulls a bunch of junior Captains but none of us can say for sure.
