Yeah, if they want to keep the regional model going, they are going to have to revisit the table several times.

I respect RE, but this is just fear tactics from our management, which shows a lack of control. So let me consider the options here.

1. Go to AA and let near 4000 pilots be hired junior to me over the next 2 years.

2. Stay here, (at a regional that Delta can flow down to with any recession) and MAYBE flow in 2 years, only to be back on the bottom of the list at Delta?

I’d have more seniority AND money going to AA. This place needs to get serious.

AA is still a legacy and they have survived the worst when others thought they wouldn't. Are they ual and dal status? No...but will you have a pretty Damn good life and earnings over there? Yes!

Hell keep your app open at delta while over there. Especially in your first year.

After that email, I respect RE a lot less. He just proved how out of touch our management really is. If things go south, you don't want to be stuck at a regional, especially one wholly owned by Delta.

We have known how out of touch RE is ever since he was so confused with so many EDV pilots leaving for Jetblue

That quote should probably be revisited now that we know about the metering of EDV pilots applying OTS to Delta.
Q: "I don't understand why any Endeavor pilot would go to JetBlue." *
A: Because it gets us a Delta seniority number about 2 years sooner than waiting for the flow!

* - I'm paraphrasing here. This isn't an exact quote from the podcast with RE

Agreed. I could write that statement off as naivety or being out of touch. This last email invoking 9/11 in an effort to convince people to stay here crossed a line. It's worse than the one from TW a couple years ago saying something to the effect of your kids not know when Christmas is.

Apc really needs a like button..

Even Dec at gojet looks good..make 127k your first year and prob get a delta class date halfway though your first year. This is sarcasm...but you get the point
