Previous 121 time?
#1
So we are giving longevity credit to direct entry Captains and paying them more than Captains who have been on property and we don’t mention that there is an incentive for our Captains who have previous 121 time to go to another airline where they can get that credit, more pay and a faster flow…
I wonder if that has anything to do with the higher than expected attrition. Does the ISL (or anything else) indicate how many of our pilots have previous 121 time?

Has anybody heard details of how this will work?
Do they pull the time out of Sabre? Will it be a form on the company website?
Is the longevity good for more vacation? Higher pay? Just retirement?

Vacation is based on Seniority not Longevity. The company isn’t doing retro to people with previous 121.

Maybe ask a rep for clarification.. I don’t see them giving vacation etc for that. But I could be wrong. They (company)are walking a fine line stepping over those senior to them who have accrued the Longevity in years of service. Im guessing Skywest and others are only offering pay longevity with time served up to 10 years. I did hear of one that is higher.
