Instructors have been reported to the company for NOT signing weak individuals off or passing them during lessons. What a joke. One of my buddies threaten to call right to the FAA when reprimanded. He refused to sign a struggling individual off, new hire went and complained to the company. Keep in mind this individual failed multiple lessons prior.

A few months ago, I received a call because I wouldn’t sign a guy off for his line check. I told mgt he needs to go back to the sim and work on aircraft control. He nearly induced a stick shaker during each rotation and when attempting to hand fly.

Seriously… go to UAL, AA, FDX, UPS. DL has hired over 8000 pilots since 2014, and 1600 this year alone. That’s not good news for any potential new hire, especially if you’re over 30. What’s keeping you so attached to DL?

Nothing. I'd rather go to UAL anyway, and if they call me I absolutely will.
