Endeavor (9E) interviews and offers?
14-03 REALIGNMENT is out. 40 displaced 55 Capt slots in JFK/LGA. Is there any way to figure what the current ratios are? We get no communication from the union on the ratio and airframes. Higney... Can you make this happen?

The Bloch quotas are only a handful off with the latest XJ 900 CA resignations.
The only growth is in NYC. The growing fleet tends to be the fleet with better schedules, so bid where you want to be. It seems that everyone thinks they can "game" the system. Don't do that. Bid where you want to be with known factors and let the cards play. NY isn't fun, unless you live there or don't want to be home. In the end, that's the reality. It's a net positive in CA numbers, so it should be viewed as a step in the correct direction.
Cheers.

Hey y'all, has anyone on here done one of these Kit Darby interview prep events ALPA is putting on for 9E folks? Are they worth the effort to, say, commute in for?
Not a huge KD fan personally, but I wouldn't mind some pointers on my resume either...unfortunately so far it's not been having the effect I was hoping for. :-(
Thx

darkman62....
with all seriousness...are you able to find employment at any of the following carriers or regional carriers?
American Eagle (envoy)
ASA (ExpressJet)
ExpressJet (ExpressJet)
JetBlue
AA/UsAir
United
Delta
Compass
SkyWest
Mesa
even PSA, Piedmont, and Commutair are better opportunities
All of the above, I would consider better employment opportunities than Endeavor. If none of these are options for you, or if you would like any more detail as to why you should not work for Endeavor, please get in contact with me...for your own sake.
Good Luck to you.

Get hired with Endeavor and you will sit never-ending reserve in NYC at either JFK or LGA. If you like commuting to sit reserve for your entire regional airline career in New York then Endeavor is for you. Otherwise, I'd apply to the others on this list and work your way down it. Don't think you'll ever upgrade. There are 7.5 year FO's who are still barely holding lines who've never had the opportunity to upgrade.
