Hahahahahahahaha

Endeavor is being spooled down. Going there is the absolute worst move possible.

I teach CA upgrades in the simulator on a weekly basis (just finished two). Given the current attrition combined with -900 expansion there ARE upgrades currently and will continue into the future.

Yes, some downgrades will occur due to the Bloch award (9E -200 CA to -900 FO), BUT they are now pay protected as Captains.
Spoken like a true kool ade drinker and company lap dog...That place is a ****e show, and it everyone that was fortunate enough to survive the Treneary debacle should know better...

This comment just made me throw up in my mouth a little bit. What does that even mean?? There is no such "regional carrier of choice" at Delta. (unless you ask a SkyWest pilot )

Not a justification, just an observation (mostly a guess really). I would say that management knows that pilots will be gone at the first opportunity whereas maintenance personnel can make more of a career out of it.... Why pay someone lots of coin when you have little chance of keeping them anyway?

For starters, per diem is NOT income. End of story.

Secondly, we have been hearing about how things at endeavor will improve and how delta has good things in the works for us for almost a year now. The only thing we received so far came just a few days ago and was contractually supposed to have been here 3 and a half years ago for reserve transparency. So, it takes over 3 years for things to come which means we have almost 3 years before these glorious ideas that delta has come to fruition.

Too bad every example you mentioned is all taxable income while per diem is not. Just a coincidence I guess. But what do I know, Im just another 20k crack in the seat FO
actually some per diem is taxable. All depends if your rest is in base out out of base.

Who cares whether its considered income or not, some people depend on that to pay the bills.

Only partially true. It's always been the case that entry level jobs pay very little because those employees hope to gain the experience they need to be competitive enough to get the high pay jobs. Jonithan Ornstien himself once expressed to me how stupid his pilots are working for so little in that hope they get to grasp the brass ring some day. Little has changed in the last 20 years.

Except now, maybe there will be a shortage of noobs willing to work for so little. Only time will tell.
