Hello guys,
I've been considering applying to Endeavor, I've never worked at US regional before and I have so many questions.
I have 1300 TT 1000 SIC Turbine (ERJ 145). I have a BA from a 141 school I could get the RATP but also I will hit the 1500 tt in a few months so either way I think i cover the minimums.
I am currently flying for a small airline in Baja Mexico, (I have dual citizenship). I am having a great time here but my ultimate goal is to fly for a legacy so I think it will be much easier to fly for a regional in the US.
I would like to know if it is possible to live outside of the country and commute. I live very close to SJD which has a direct flight on Delta to JFK every day.

Don’t you guys realize what Delta has effectively done with this 80k retention? They have given the endeavor pilots a raise! I don’t think it is coincidental that the bonus ends when the current pilot contract ends. They have recognized that part of the problem all airlines are having now is because of poor salaries at the regional level, and it has affected them because of the attrition, moral and the hard to find new hires.
As far as I understand it, at Endeavour there are aircraft that have been refurbished sitting in storage because there are no drivers. The more drivers they are able to attract, then more aircraft that will fly. The more aircraft flying the more captains that will be required, the more Capts required the more first officers hired and the cycle continues.
I know that there is a lot of hurt and disappointment with Pinnacle, Mesaba and Colgan, I hope however that there will be a change….and the morale will continue to improve. Ultimately all I want to see is all regionals have movement and better quality of life. We should no longer be abused for the love we have of flying and be properly compensated irrespective of the level we are flying at, as we all know an aircraft is an aircraft A380 to a Beech 1900 we all work hard and have families we need to feed. So lets all rally behind each other and work to getting the respect and compensation we all deserve.
