Yes, given that it will be a completely different pilot group being interviewed, and DL will be needing pilots more by then. I expect the entire HR process to be easier to get thru, actually, even for OTS hires.

So you think a full off the street 2 day DGI interview is going to do better than a reduced 1 day SSP interview?

Yes I believe you are right...it will be a different pilot group. And Yes an easier interview process for these entitled millennials to easily get through. Don't want to make it too difficult for the next gen of Delta pilot.

Union said clear as say they plan to make 3-6 year Captain pay rates lower post bonus than they are now with pay rate plus bonus. When asked about such we were told they ...frankly don't give two %$&#$ about our group of guys. They want to make the lifers and new hires happy.

Look for it when the rates come out. Do the math. No one should be taking a cut right now even despite the history of this company.

hence the reason they won't let us vote on it...If they help one or two sub sets of our entire pilot group and leave the rest of us with a pay cut **** on them. New hires and making the lifers whole...what a load of ******.

Quit or run for office!

I just heard the MEC say no cuts for anyone. But go ahead and make stuff up then you can justify your rotten disposition.

You said entitled millennials, not I. I simply said a different pilot group. Not everyone hired today is a millennial. Many are go-getters.

Please show where they said that clear as day. Cause the MEC Chair and another ALPA negotiator said no cuts for anyone in recurrent this week. Along with a host of other improvements the company is open to.

Especially if it's a new contract and not more LOA's.

Mainline will not ever change their hiring standards. There simply isn't a need. They want the best hoop jumpers. It's yours to acquire with a little self-application. Personally, I'd prefer AA but I certainly won't go to AA WO. eff that. Just upgraded and I'm actually liking the left seat.
