Technically the 50 seat market won’t go away due to scope. But why just the 200 with another 50 seat option?

I believe scope would allow for a properly utilized 550 at DL. I could even see some markets for a 50 seat premium seat market in some cases. The choke point is the 550/700 is out of production, thus it has limited utility and availability to be a 200 replacement.

The mighty Deuce is paid for and cheaper to operate than a 550 for the same pax load. When people start clicking on flights based on equipment, the 550 will win that battle. But when is that?

According to this DCI should be flying the maximum allowed 50 seat RJs (125). They are not, and there are no plans to fly the max 125 according to DG

I may be wrong, but I believe the last narrowbody deal reduced the number of 200s DCI could fly. Is that 125 the new reduced number?

125 is the number after the 717, 76 seater, reduce the 50 seaters deal.
