The -900 at MSP was offered to this last class to bid for. We should get our assignments today in class. So later today we will have better numbers to be able to share on here.

Sim schedules vary. 3-5 days on followed by 1-3 days off. Sims run every day. I had a couple that ended at 11pm on Saturday or Sunday. They will positive space you home anytime you have 2+ days off in a row. The girl who schedules it is awesome too. I e-mail her like "hey can I get on XYZ flight from XXX-XXX on May X" and literally 15 minutes later you will get a response back with your flight confirmation number.

Also, how easy would it be to get a New York base right away (I suppose fairly easy, but you never know)? And is it a joint JFK/LGA base, or do they split it up?

How does that work for bidding a base that's 900 only? If the class is all 200s, I guess nobody gets those bases?

Interesting...15-03 vacancy only had 3 secondary vacancies for MSP-900 FO. Company isn't obligated to fill those especially when there were still primary vacancies open and other secondaries at the other bases that need way more pilots. But hey if some of you are able to get it and it's what ya want more power to you. I take it you are in the June class?

Our class was supposed to be all 200s, but a couple weeks in they decided to split it 900/200. People found out their bases near the end of ground school. Ground school is M-F 8-5pm or so. They will positive space you home anywhere in the country for the weekends.

How far out from class did you start getting information? I am three weeks out and I haven't heard anything since the interview.

I was a little bit different because I was on military leave for 3 years and had to go through the whole shebang all over again. I just told them I was coming off of orders and they put me in the next available class.
