Thanks for the response! If I were single, I would move in a heartbeat and not think twice about it. But, I'm married with 2 kids and I don't want to uproot them if I don't have to. How can I research the availability of flights for me to commute? What factors do I need to consider?
But, you mentioned moving to DFW. Isn't that uprooting?

10 years at Eagle and now starting at Endeavor? I feel for you. Hopefully things keep going in the right direction. As for moving, don't forget how easy it was for an airline to open/close bases. All the Colgan bases were shut down, Memphis use to be a huge hub for 9E/XJ - closed, JFK - was closed down, reopened and now NY is our biggest base. I don't think I'd move for a regional right now, wait until the dust settles and you end up where you want to be. You might come to 9E, move to DTW and then get hired somewhere without a base in DTW.

I will be moving to Dallas during the summer while my family stays back in Shreveport. It's about a 3 hour drive. If it is a more permanent situation, the whole family may move but that really depends on the airline. If I get Endeavor, I may be able to pull off a commute. If I can't, we will move

Added to the above answer about no pay: You also incur a 1-year contract for having them pay for your training. Not sure what the pro-rated pay back schedule is if you decide to quit prior to a year, just wanted to make sure you knew about it.
