Not sure any of those numbers are "reflective". Since we're at sunset on the program, any and all who hadn't applied and were eligible needed to rush. Not sure we got a result from either a "prepared" group or a "motivated" one. Though I could be completely wrong?

I disagree I've had my app in from the very beginning when FO's were allowed to interview via the SSP. I just now recently got my name submitted. The very soonest I could get was a september date. So there are quite a few FO's just now getting their first shot at this interview and have had a ton of time to get ready while they waited to have their names sent. The problem is CA's and second timers take priority when delta gets names so there was a huge chunk of us that basically got bumped down the list each month as guys/gals jumped in front of us. This has created a unique mix I suppose in people interviewing but not to the point where 27% pass the interview. It just doesn't add up.

SSP is a 1 day interview, the DGI program is written as being the full off the street 2 day interview.

Not even close to a flow! You go through everything an off the street guy does EXCEPT the shrink on day two.

Not completely true. A friend submitted months ago, but the timeline just aligned. That was ONE case. Yes, many others fall into that category, or Delta isn't their first choice.

If you commute to DTW avoid staying at the Days Inn by the airport. An FA from Canada got raped there on Monday. The hotel keeps the "room receipts" right out in public view. So if you don't want your **** stolen or to be raped then stay away from the Days Inn for now. Really bad situation but the hotel is really the responsible party here for not keeping guest information out of public view.

It was 2 out of 8 Monday, 2 out of 7 Tuesday. I was one of the interviewees from Monday. Of the 6 not hired on Monday, 5 were given double no's. Of the 5 not hired on Tuesday, 2 were given double no's. Everyone from Monday seemed like great guys and very prepared and motivated.

A lot of very good, very qualified, well prepared people have been turned away. It's far from a perfect process. If your looking to come to Endeavor, come because the company is doing well, pays well, is run well, and the people are top notch. Don't bank on the gaurenteed interview.

I have no doubt they come well prepared. It's easy to blame the process for the applicant's failure. However, obviously the interviewers saw something that was questionable or these well prepared applicants couldn't bring it when the pressure was on. It's always a head scratcher when someone as you described gets turned away. In the end, you have to trust the process worked as intended.

Its Delta's ball game and it's your job as an applicant to get through it. That doesn't mean Delta hasn't missed out on some quality people. It's important for people coming to Endeavor in hopes of getting to Delta to know its not a for sure thing. That said, I do believe you should stack as much in your favor as you can and if Delta is your goal, Endeavor gives you a good chance of getting there.
